This indicator shows whether the effect is on or off, and also doubles as the battery check indicator. * If several seconds elapse without the MODE button being pressed, or if you press any button other than the MODE button, the TU-3 returns to its normal state without restoring the factory settings. The green light at the center of the meter flashes three times, and the TU-3 returns to its normal mode, with the original default factory settings restored. Press the MODE button and STREAM/CENT button simultaneously.You can adjust the reference pitch over a range of 436-445 Hz. * The TU-3 returns to its normal state when several seconds have elapsed without the STREAM/CENT button being pressed. Off: The meter lights up at the left and right. On: The meter lights stream to the center from the left and right. The meter will light farther toward the left as the pitch gets flatter, or farther toward the right as the pitch gets sharper. Tune the instrument so that both Tuning Guide indicators are lit and the center of the meter is lit green. The note name or string number closest to the tone being played appears in the display.
